Some tools in the iONMAX lineup draw a significant amount of power to preform their best. For this tool and some others, it is recommended that you use either the 4.0-Ah 24VBAT or the 5.0-Ah 24VBAT-XR. Using batteries with lower Amp hours with this tool is not recommended and can be detrimental to performance.
