Help, My Log Splitter does not start. I hear a humming sound.

We have noticed that the 'motor impeller' may become jammed during shipping. To remedy this, follow these steps.

  1. Disconnect your log splitter.
  2. Disassemble the black cover on the motor (three screws).
  3. Remove the motor cover.
  4. Move the impeller back and forth to attain smooth rotation.
  5. Reinstall the motor cover.
  6. Plug in the machine and resume operation.
