My Cordless Paint Sprayer is not operating properly, what do I do?

Problem Possible Cause Possible Solution
Little or no material flow
  • Nozzle clogged.
  • Suction tube clogged.
  • Material volume setting turned too low.
  • Suction tube loose.
  • No pressure build up in container.
  • Air filter clogged.
  • Clean the nozzle with the supplied needle clean-out tool.
  • Clean the suction tube with the supplied cleaning brush.
  • Increase the spray amount by adjusting the flow control knob.
  • Tighten the suction tube.
  • Tighten the paint container.
  • Clean the air filter.
Material leaking
  • Nozzle is loose.
  • Nozzle is worn.
  • Suction tube loose.
  • Material builds up and blocks the air cap and nozzle.
  • Insert the nozzle tip securely.
  • Replace the nozzle.
  • Tighten the suction tube.
  • Clean the blocked air cap and the nozzle.
The spray is not fine
  • Viscosity of material is too high.
  • Spray tip orifice is too large.
  • Material volume setting too high.
  • Nozzle clogged.
  • Air filter clogged.
  • Too little pressure build-up in container.
  • Thin the material properly.
  • Change to a smaller nozzle tip.
  • Decrease the spray amount by adjusting the flow control knob.
  • Clean the nozzle with the supplied needle clean-out tool.
  • Clean the air filter.
  • Tighten the paint container.
Cannot generate continuous spray
  • Material in the spray container is running out.
  • Air filter is clogged.
  • Refill the container.
  • Clean the air filter.
Paint runs or drips on the surface
  • There's too much paint applied on the surface.
  • Decrease the spray amount by adjusting the flow control knob.
  • Move fast with the sprayer.
Too much overspray
  • The sprayer is too far from the surface.
  • There's too much paint applied on the surface.
  • Reduce the distance.
  • Decrease the spray amount by adjusting the flow control knob or move quickly with the sprayer.
Paint is light and not even on the surface
  • The sprayer is moved too fast during spraying.
  • Increase the spray amount by adjusting the flow control knob or move slower with the sprayer.
