My Steamer is not operating properly, what do I do?

Problem Possible Cause Possible Solution
Unit fails to heat up. Indicator lights do not flash or illuminate when set to “I” (on) position.
  • Unit is not plugged in.
  • Household circuit breaker / ground fault interrupter has tripped or blown a fuse.
  • Unit is damaged or in need of repair.
  • Loose electrical connection.
  • The tank is empty.
  • Unit is damaged or otherwise in need of repair.
  • Check power supply – cord, breakers, fuses. If damage is found, contact a qualified electrician to repair.
  • Reset circuit breaker / ground fault interrupter, or replace fuse. If you need assistance, contact a licensed electrician.
  • Fill the tank.
Accessories do not stay firmly connected.
  • Accessories are not properly installed.
  • Refer to the manual to properly install accessories
Floor surfaces appear to have streaks after cleaning.
  • Cotton cloth is dirty.
  • Hard water residue on the floor.
  • Wash the cotton cloth.
  • Switch to distilled or de-mineralized water.
