If you'd like the chute crank to rotate with greater ease, spray some lubricant, such as WD-40, at the following three points:

• Inside and around the eye-bolt that connects the upper chute crank to the middle frame of the unit
• Around the collar of the discharge chute
• Inside and around the joint where the lower chute crank meets the discharge chute cover
